Will my Mac open it?: BetterEdits needs macOS 15 or later, Apple silicon. The app is signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate.
Do I need an account?: Yes. Sign-in happens in your browser the first time you open the app, and the same account works on every Mac you own.
Where do my files live?: In your projects folder on your Mac. Exports are ordinary MP4 files, and your projects stay readable if you stop paying.
